For markets getting the P7, it might be a good alternative to the Taycan.

"XPeng P7 or Porsche Taycan Turbo S, which one would you have..?

A question as difficult as this one needs a proper comparison. They are both dual-motor four-door four-seat electric sedan-coupe's. They are both new. And they are both very cool.

The P7 comes in many different kinds. The car on the pics is the top-end '4WD High-performance Zhizun Edition'. The Turbo S is the top-end Taycan.

Now for the numbers:
Porsche: 762 hp, 1050 Nm, 93.4 kWh, 465 km NEDC, 260 km/h, 0-100 in 2.8 seconds.
XPeng: 430 hp, 655 Nm, 80.9 kWh, 552 km NEDC, 170 km/h, 0-100 in 4.3 seconds.
Porsche: 4963/1966/1378, wheelbase 2900 and curb weight is 2295.
XPeng: 4880/1896/1450, wheelbase is 2998 and curb weight is 2060 kilo.
Autonomous driving level: Porsche: n/a. XPeng: L 2.5.
So the Porsche is heavier, a little bit bigger, and way faster. The difference in top speed is very notable. The XPeng P7 seems slow for 430 hp. But the Porsche can't do anything alone, whereas the XPeng can do highways all by itself. But still, an easy choice?
Not really. Let's talk money now.
Price Porsche Taycan Turbo S: 1.8 million yuan or $ 252.000.
Price XPeng P7 4WD High-performance Zhizun Edition: 340.000 yuan or $ 47.680. That's FIVE P7's for the price of ONE Taycan.
I'd take two P7's and save the rest for a 1975 Hongqi state limousine. What about you?" ~
