I have taken Turbo S out for test drive. Enjoyed the car and pushed it a bit but didnt abuse it on public streets.
Candidly, I was a little disappointed with the power, which I know was at least partially attributable to the lack of sound. Made it hard to appreciate how fast the car was accelerating despite the speedo rapidly increasing. I have a 500whp supercharged E39 M5, Macan Turbo, and BMW M4 in the garage so maybe shouldn’t have expected anything substantially different in terms of optimal situation power delivery. I completely acknowledge that the beauty of the Taycan is instant power delivery in any situation and that its ability to get off the line is night and day different. All this being said, I am still expecting to get a Taycan when the new colors/options become available this summer.
