Where is it being held? Do you know if they will be doing anything at the Porsche North America in Atlanta?
Question: Are your dealers well equipped to deal with the demand especially with servicing?
What to expect from a maintenance point of view? Will the Taycan have a similar maintenance schedule as the current ICE cars?
Question: Are the battery packs designed to be easily swapped out/upgraded as newer technology becomes available?
I'd like to see some more clarification about Porsche's charging network for the Taycan. Also, speaking of maintenance, what kinds of training are Porsche mechanics getting for the Taycan? Or will there be specialized mechanics that only work on the Taycan?
What models will be available initially?
When will RWD model be available?
Real world range of various models?
Bench rear seat option availability?
Forward collision braking standard?

Thanks
What I'm the most curious about is if they're expecting to see any delays as a result of battery metal shortages? If not, how are they not going to be affected by these shortages?

Good point.
Unfortunately, all we can really depend on for now is pressing dealers for allocation and transit info, aside from that its just a waiting game.
Hello! Here some questions:
  • battery packs upgrades (if solid state batteries are launched in 3 years, will we be able to upgrade easily and for a reasonable price ?);
  • Is there a Smart trip planning system showing where to stop?
  • I heard there will be different versions of the 4S ranging from 425hp to 625hp. Will there be a long range version with 425hp?

Thanks

fyi - some extra info received from Porsche: Turbo and Turbo S will be presented on Sept 4th, 4S will launch on Oct 15th with min 530km (330miles) WLTP up to 600km (370miles) - if this is confirmed, it would be great!!
We have arrived at the workshop! Thanks for all the great questions everyone. If you have any more questions that you want us to try and get answers to please let us know.

We're definitely in the right place, here's what our room key looks like!

Can they provide additional information on over the air (OTA) updates? Will this be for all the systems in the car or just for certain systems (like navigation or climate control? Will there be a charge for the updates?

Hey Alex, there will be a trip planner in the GPS that will help drivers know where to stop and charge.

For your other questions we're not allowed to reveal anything until Sept. 4th.

I pre-ordered the Taycan, source is my dealer who mentions that these info are directly coming from the factory. I hope it’s reliable enough :)
