Great news for anyone drooling over the concept's interior as seen in the below photo because a steering wheel you see is reportedly similar to what's on Taycan test mules out right now. I have a good feeling Porsche will delivery on a lot of what we're seeing, the decade we're entering in will require them to in order to stay competitive and Porsche hasn't been one to sit out. I just hope some of what's on this next evolution in the Porsche Advanced Cockpit model rubs off on cheaper Porsche's.

Has it been confirmed that the Taycan will be using that full dash width landscape display? I've seen something similar in recent concepts out of Genesis and MB, but nothing that's been confirmed for production. I do also think it would be a good idea to also include physical buttons. Touchscreens can be very distracting.

I don't really think any aspects of the concepts have been confirmed yet for production, aside from the battery that's being used. The odds of seeing this kind of landscape display will be dependant on the pricing of the Taycan. And I'd be surprised if it was standard.

If companies like Audi plan on using their first EV's to introduce digital side mirrors, then I expect Porsche will implement quite a high tech cabin in the production model as well. From the physical concept it didn't appear that there was a secondary touch screen embedded into the center console though.

So long as they also provide some physical buttons for shortcuts and features like heated seats, volume control etc. There is no need to hide things like that under sub menus, causing greater distraction when driving.
