Yup, its that fast and if Porsche is not already at those figures or planning to, they should get on board. Of all EV consumers that will need faster charging it will be those with a heavy foot, or in other words, us Porsche guys. I'm not planning to baby the Taycan, I haven't with any of my Porsche neither any of my cars that were meant to be pushed.
Specifically its called 'V3 Charging' and more can be read about it in this Tesla press release

V3 is a completely new architecture for Supercharging. A new 1MW power cabinet with a similar design to our utility-scale products supports peak rates of up to 250kW per car. At this rate, a Model 3 Long Range operating at peak efficiency can recover up to 75 miles of charge in 5 minutes and charge at rates of up to 1,000 miles per hour. Combined with other improvements we’re announcing today, V3 Supercharging will ultimately cut the amount of time customers spend charging by an average of 50%, as modeled on our fleet data.

Did Porsche not say that the Taycan would be capable of using 350kW quick charging stations? I don't know about their compatibility with the Tesla charging network, but Electrify America will have support for it.
Most automakers will be future proofing their new EV's by building in functionality that wont open up until the infrastructure improves. Just hope they've done significant enough testing to ensure there is no greater deterioration on the battery pack with the increased charge rate.
