Tesla wall charger price

One thing I've been paying attention to recently is how Tesla's wall charger is priced compared to Porsche's

On their website Tesla sells their Silver Wall Connector for $500. That doesn't include how much installation costs with an electrician. Along with that you can also purchase their Corded Mobile Connector for $520 or their Gen 2 Mobile Connector Bundle for $275 if you want.

For Porsche the wall mounted Charging Dock for the Mobile Charger costs $470. It also doesn't include installation costs.

Along with that, the Mobile Charger Connect that comes standard for initial production Taycan orders costs $1,120 on the Taycan Configurator.

i already have Tesla charger installed wonder if that will reduce cost of my Taycan install?
You can still use your existing charger at home if you buy a Tesla-to-J1772 adapter.

There's a shop in California that makes an adapter called the JDapter Stub. Basically, you plug this in first into the Tesla charger you have at home, wait about 30 seconds, and then you plug this JDapter stub into the Taycan or any other car with a J1772 port. Done. No need to change out your existing home level 2 charging setup.
