It's just disappointing actually. That not only Audi, Jag, MB and now Porsche cannot build what Tesla has is sad. Their dealerships have also told KBB they don't want to sell EVs (they don't make $ on them.) People keep saying these legacy ICE makers will clean Tesla's clock once they start making competition. But they aren't even getting close to competing based on specs per $.
I mean, we are here arguing the Taycan vs. the Model 3P. It's not 100% clear, but the performance of the $55k 3P would require the $135k version of the Taycan to beat or match it.
Hence, the "taycan't" attitude out there. Oh, and I have driven the autobahn multiple times. It SUCKS. That much variability in speed means if you have the fast car, you are always braking and if you don't you are always getting run over. Having a top end over about 100-110 consistently used is a fantasy.
