In an interesting move, it seems that the long range rear-wheel drive Model 3 will no longer be offered by Tesla.
Tech YouTuber Jeremy Judkins, who purchased one before the announcement, revealed the news in one of his videos. Now Tesla customers will have to choose between the shorter range Model 3 or the long range all-wheel drive version.
While it was removed from the Tesla website, up until now you could have ordered a long range rear-wheel Model 3 by calling or vising a Tesla Store.
It does make sense that Telsa would want to limit versions of the Model 3 for production reason, especially if they weren't even being advertised online. But who knows, maybe this version of the Model 3 will return at a later date.
