I can hereby confirm that there will be a Taycan Turbo S. Per my Bellevue Porsche Rep email exchange. I have amended my file/deposit waitlist with my dealer to reflect a Turbo S

When everyone over the last 2 years put down deposits, the deposits did not reflect what levels/names would be used since no one knew what the levels would entail. Won’t Porsche have to have all 30k deposit holders go online and make decisions, level, color accessories etc. before they have any idea how many at each level needs to be produced? Then will the individual Taycans be made in order of the date the deposits were made? Seems like a ton of decisions and paper work is coming up soon!

I just emailed my rep .. requesting my file to reflect the Turbo S.. suggest you call your Porsche Rep and do the same
I will when the time comes but until I can see a list of what comes standard with each level I’m in the dark. Just guessing from previous posts since we do not know what the exact levels are yet the “4S” is more to my liking. I am at the age and have owned enough high end cars over the years that anything over 450HP is no longer my cup of tea! :) I can afford any level just do not have any practical place to wind out such a unit.

My guess is that after Sept 4th you will have a run on the dealerships and we should have build configs ready online. Not sure about 4S.. I do know they are slated for a later launch
Remember your Rep is a "salesman". Don't count your Taycans before they hatch. ??

Lol very true.. but on the flip side, we have known each/done Porsche biz for the last 9yrs.. he has been the key source for my Taycan info and pulled a few strings for me along this path of the long wait for the Taycan.

If you can get him to speak on information revealed in the recent wave of reviews, that would help.
If not, i won't mind waiting another week. September 4 isn't much further away.

I also have a reservation for a taycan at Bellevue which i have had for almost 2 years and what I am told 3rd on the list my sales person told me last week the plan is they are starting with the highest end model and offering them down the order list to everyone willing to pay for the highend as there alocation comes in and as soon as porsche starts building the 4s then they will go back to everyone from the top down who past on the turbo and start down and so on . I will probably just by the turbo because i bet it will be 6 months before the start on the model s if i dont like it i will trade down models later

Yea .. the 1st 2 lineups of the Taycan that will hit Bellevue will be the Turbo and Turbo S trims. The other trims will hit later in 2020. I was unsure about the "Turbo trims" hence we just giving my rep a call and had my file amended for the Turbo S trim in order to get the car faster. I am also on the waitlist for the Cross Turismo
As always germans will follow the order first placed first delivered at least my car if i get the turbo or turboS will be in Seattle if you look at the manufacturing capacity and how many dealerships and orders there are Bellevue may only get 30 to 50 cars in 2020 hard to say the dealership seems to in the dark as much as we are .

I think the Turbo and Turbo S are coming at the same time. There was a rumor the 4S would come as soon as October, but I wouldn't be surprised if it came 6 months later.
Even with the start up of production I’d venture the Turbo and Turbo S will not take 6 months to produce. Taycans that expensive will be a very small percentage of total sales compared to the lower models which will be the vast majority of production. Turbo and Turbo S will be less than 10% of total sales. Just a guess on my part....we shall see! :)

At my Porsche dealership, the Turbo/S variants constitute 30% of deposit orders, the remaining are 4S. But I guess when the S is released that ratio will fall.
As mentioned earlier on the forum - info received via Porsche (dealer sourcing info from factory colleagues) Turbo and Turbo S are to be revealed on Sept 4th in Berlin. Driving range up to 600km WLTP power from around 625hp (760hp with booster) up to nearly 800hp. price from 150k€+ up to 190k€ excluding options. Taycan 4S arriving on Oct 15th. range from 530 to 600km. power ranging from 425hp up to 620hp (no booster). price starting at 110k€ for the 4S without options. (couldn’t get confirmation on which version of the 4S but it seems expensive for the basic version considering previous media mentions). Taycan basic (2wd) arriving only in September 2020. RWD version should have 480bhp. This should be confirmed on Sept 4th. Until full reveal, i’m pretty sure some extra info will be communicated.

600km range is what the Model S long range gets. Beating that should be priority for Porsche.

If the 4S starts at 110 Euro before options some folks will opt out considering past reports/guesses of price by the media.....

I really hope the Taycan can hit 530-600km (329 - 372 miles) range. Especially with some of the reviews that are suggesting it could be lower than expected.

I believe it can but it depends on drive mode and your driving style. In sport+ and with a heavy foot, you won’t go past 350km... same with all fuel engines and other electric cars. Tesla S long range barely reaches 380km if you drive like a punk :)
