One of Porsche's Taycan test mules was recently spotted new Milan and it gives us a first look under the hood and at its automated charge port. It does not look like the frunk provides much in terms of storage, with less than what's found in cars like the Model 3. There are some cars like the EQC however that don't have one at all. The charging port seems to automatically open when a cable enters proximity and it appears to have a CCS port underneath.

I don't think this is unreasonable for a first generation model, especially since this marks Porsche's first full EV. Over time I expect they will get better with the packaging and various components will continue to decrease in size. Not sure why they even bothered with a frunk if its mostly filled with parts? Ease of access for maintenance?

I am writing my thesis at the University of Mannheim, about the electric automobile industry, with focus on the Taycan as a pioneer for Porsche. The goal is to identify changes in consumer behavior and consumer needs, and how Porsche can adapt their strategies to meet the needs of their customers.

The following survey is of crucial in order for me to be able to provide good strategic solutions for Porsche.

Therefore i was wondering if you would help me reach out to the German Porsche owners.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Great to have you here because i'm sure we all have some general idea of who will be buying, so hopefully seeing results of this survey will confirm who's hands these Taycans get into.
Are you able to share information that has been collected so far?
