Why are the Taycan brake calipers aft of the rear disk and forward of the front disk?

Most Porsche calipers are placed forward of the rear disk and aft of the front disk presumably to keep weight near the center of the car.

It's unlikely that the calipers are placed that way for weight consideration, more likely it's placed there because you have to fit it where the steering and suspension components aren't. There's not much extra space in there and you still have to attach it to the knuckle.

I wonder if it has something to do with weight balance in the car. Looking at a 911 they put the callipers behind the front axle and before the rear axle. This keeps all the weight in the middle of the car.
I wonder if the heavy battery components make it, surprisingly, advantageous to put that weight on the outside corners.
