Looks like an outlet from Finland got some miles in a car.
That works out to around 162 miles.

If you extrapolate that gives the car 351 km total range or 220 miles of real world range. I could have sworn the real EPA numbers for the 4S were out already, but I guess not.

"Taycan 4S from Nesøya to Gudbrandsgard Hotell on Kvitfjell. This was a 260km trip with about 700m elevation. Including city, highway and country roads. Starting at 98% and arriving with 24% battery."

It's too bad that this wasn't a longer article. I would've liked to read about the drive and how the car performed.

Also St00k, It's only the Turbo and Turbo S EPA numbers that are out so far. I'm bracing myself for what they give the 4S.

Just to clarify, this was in Norway, not Finland :)

My Tesla Model 3 Performance in scimilar conditions and mostly on the same road (to Trysil) , same distance (260 km) with the 50 m less elevation arrives at 0-10% battery state of charge. So, my guess is that the Taycan 4S actually has more range than the Tesla Model 3 Performance. I am a heavy footer and often pass traffic on highways. Seems they had about the same driving style as me on the video.

@Taycan4S As Taycan real-world range numbers come out its clear that Porsche is easily beating the EPA-estimated range on nearly all models. It gets better depending on a number of driving conditions. 240 miles is the average while those driving under ideal conditions can get around 270. Being a heavy footer will bring you closer to 240. Keep us posted on your numbers.

Purchased my Frozen Blue 4S last week in Atlanta Perimeter Porsche and drove it home to San Francisco over 4 days

Fun range facts;

Tucumcari New Mexico to Grants NM, 2400 ft elev increase. Outside temp, 50-60. 98% SOC, Range mode with eco plus on, at 65mph, 248 miles travelled and 38 miles left on odo = 286 mile range minimum.

Second leg that day, Grants NM to flagstaff Arizona, 550 ft elevation increase, temp in mid 70s, more flat terrain, 100% SOC, range mode with eco AC and eco plus combo, 70 mph, 244 miles travelled, 72 miles left on odo, minimum 316 miles range. Battery is happy in mid 70s.

Also another range data point from the trip. Barstow, California Electrify America station to Firebaugh EA on interstate 5 in California. 267 miles travelled, 98% SOC. Eco AC on 65mph. 31 miles left on odo. Temps in mid 70s. Elevation drop 2000ft.

Long distance trips and range anxiety with the Taycan don’t exist. You need to take bathroom breaks at a frequency similar to charging. Lol
