All was well until at 1700 miles got an “Electrical system error SERVICE REQUIRED”. Car won’t move.
To add insult to injury roaside assistance is no help. On hold more than 30 mins. Called dealer told me to call roadside assistance to get it towed in.
Will post the resolution to the story but at this point not good

My cars done 2000 miles and just received the Red Electrical System Fault Error. What causes this issue and what is the fix for this? They are towing my car to the nearest Porsche Garage next week.
Damn, sorry to hear about your Taycan @77CY! Did the error message come on when you were home or while you were out?
Left the car on charge overnight, when I come to start up this morning error appeared. I have a blackvue dash camera connected to an external cellink neo 9 battery for parking mode. I'm slightly concerned that porsche may blame it on that but just wanted to check with the forum first just incase they try that card. Any suggestions guys, has anyone had this error and had it fixed, if so, what did porsche do to repair the problem.
Cellink neo 9 is connected to the main battery of the car
Hopefully this does not become an issue as Porsche is not a software company.

It is now!
So guys, does the software definitely fix this issue?
damn that sucks .. it's making me nervous with my pending delivery and ~1k mile road trip after delivery with my Taycan back home
You back up and running?
Sorry to hear that. Have you notified the dealer?

Yeah it’s on a recovery truck after call with Stuttgart! They say it’s a software issue so we’ll see.

Please keep us informed how well Porsche handles your issue.
Same problem on my 4s vehicle that I received 7 days ago

So sorry to hear about your issue. Hopefully they will get it resolved quickly. Welcome to the forum by the way.
Thank you, I will share with you when I get information from the dealer
Look forward to hearing from you.
The dealer said that he made an update and the problem was fixed. I have one more question.
After stopping the vehicle, there is a knocking sound from the bottom
Wondering why the dealer needs to do the update and not OTA instead?
Togi: Find the knocking noise? Can't be bad main bearings at least.

That's a new one on me. Mine definitely does not do that. Have you reported that issue to the dealer?
TAYCAN Error message: ‘Electrical system fault inspection necessary’.
charger went red, while charging in a station last night,
the error message above came up.
ignition comes on, bu car wouldn’t budge, not possible to go into drive or reverse, so had to abandon.
porsche rescued the car today, and I’m waiting for the diagnosis.
Did this happen to anyone else ?
I've got 4,676 miles on my 4S and have never had that warning. My 4S was also not part of the recall for that issue.
