It's finally here! Jonny Smith and The Fully Charged Show have uploaded their first drive of the Porsche Taycan. More specifically the top end model that's expected to produce over 600 horsepower.The goal of the video is to test the Taycan's "repeatability of high performance" and use the launch control up to 220 kmh (136 mph) constantly, and the results are staggering. Jonny made 30 runs with launch control and it looks incredibly quick.

The video also does a great job at point out all the stickers Porsche has put on the pre-production versions so you can get a better sense of what it will look like when it's revealed.

My deposit was only $500. 2500€ is a lot to surrender for 2 years if you are way down on the list like I am.

I found this to be really funny, some Tesla owner tried to "recreate" Porsche's test by doing 31 consecutive launch starts with his Model 3. The only problem is he went to 60 mph each time...
