Every piece of info Porsche releases about the new Taycan contains even more info... if you look closely.
While not exactly an official number, in the latest video showcasing the Taycan's Nurburgring lap time, you can clearly see the car hits 259 km/h on the final straight. That equals roughly 161 mph!
You have to think that that's just a variation on an electronically limited 155 mph setting, common amongst most German cars.
This also raises the question: is this lap time truly representative of what the Taycan is capable of.
The 7:42 time is 4 seconds short of the 7:38 sedan record set by the Panamera Turbo S, however, that car has a top speed of 190 mph. Presumably, the Taycan could go even faster if the limiter was raised!!!!
