Anyone hear anything about motor whine described in an earlier post by someone who test drove?I was looking forward to a quiet cabin.
I also prefer to have a quiet cabin.
However, the Taycan's whining and 'warbling' sound is real and not artificial, it comes from the motor and transmission components. In most cases that can make it far easier to live with than an artificial sound. Give it some time, you might like it (keep us posted).
What i'm not a fan of is the 'Porsche Electric Sport Sound' option (+$500) that
"enhances the vehicle’s own sound and makes it sound even more emotional - both outside and inside the vehicle. Can be activated/deactivated via Porsche Communication Management" It's
a sound clip that's plays during acceleration.
I'm actually curious to know how many Taycan owners ordered that (
Did You Order "Porsche Electric Sport Sound"?). Anyone?
In that example it sounds too dramatic. I'm not a fan. Sorry Porsche.
