Can you be in three places at once? Because former F1 driver and Porsche fan Mark Webber apparently can.

Oh, and so can the Porsche Taycan!

Porsche has just announced that rather than debut the Taycan at the Frankfurt Motor Show, it will actually be revealed (by Mark Webber) simultaneously at three events globally, one in Berlin, Germany, one in China and one in ... Canada.

Rather than the Sept 11 date we initially thought, the reveal will happen more than a week sooner on Sept 4th.

We'll be on-site for the reveal so stay tuned for more updates.

Hopefully with Mark Webber being who he is, will speak on how the Taycan feels enough like a 911. I mean, its why Porsche is getting him, instead of some exec, to present the Taycan. Also can't wait for pricing details. Around $80,000 (USD) is what i'm expecting.

Was that a subtle dig at...Canada, eh? ???
Does anybody know the time of the big Taycan intro on 9/4? I want to be sure to keep myself available to watch the intro live.

Based on the countdown clock on the Porsche link it will start at 9:00am eastern.

Speaking of the which, Porsche released this video to hype up the big debut.

Can't wait for the debut. I'm most interested in hearing how it sounds in different power modes.
I was at my dealer today and was advised the Turbo, Turbo S and perhaps GTS versions will be available in the first year. Then the AWD and RWD version will be available after a year. I hope the EV tax credit lasts a year.
Taycans will be at PEC for test drives apparently.
