Yes this has been set for other cars too, generally it is best not to go all the way up and even more importantly not all the way down to empty. And most importantly not to leave in either condition for long periods of time (I mean weeks not hours). But is there a setting to allow for max charge level? I don’t see it.

in the newer "book" it has been lowered to 80% from 85%, it is only a few miles difference and for daily use using the lower number shouldn't be an issue
As a habit, if I do not need the miles, I tend to use a 70-30% range charging strategy. I leave the car "idle" at 40%, then raise the minimum or set a timer for up to 70% for daily use depending on how much I think I may drive. But then again I have option of charging at work and fast charging in my area, so YMMV.
