interesting .. just per those sketches.. i can see myself napping in that position
I can see myself falling asleep too...but then freaking out when I wake up because I'm driving down the road. ?interesting .. just per those sketches.. i can see myself napping in that position
Well I can buy a Model 3 with full self driving package tomorrow with the promise it will be “feature complete” in 2020. What is Porsche’s roadmap to full self driving?I think that's important to point out.
A lot of Tesla fanbois on Twitter are harping on this because Porsche doesn't have a self driving system yet.
The reality is, Tesla doesn't either. It's only partially self-driving. Drivers still need to be in control of the car.
This system HAS to be fully self driving because the driver just can't drive the car in that position.
Strange that you’ve never owned a Tesla but seem to have detailed knowledge. I’m on my 2nd model S and yes it can keep you in the lane (even change lanes, sort of) and monitor speed. It’s quite useful in slow moving traffic but not much better than adaptive cruise. It certainly isn’t autonomous. My Taycan arrives in April.Well I can buy a Model 3 with full self driving package tomorrow with the promise it will be “feature complete” in 2020. What is Porsche’s roadmap to full self driving?
lets just put it this way .. no Lidar = no full self driving.I think that's important to point out.

Just because they haven't declared a roadmap, doesn't mean they don't have one. It's a more conservative way of doing business for sure.Well I can buy a Model 3 with full self driving package tomorrow with the promise it will be “feature complete” in 2020. Interesting that you changed the topic. The current version of enhanced autopilot is far more advanced than adaptive cruise. It will be interesting to see if your car gets delivered on time. Beautiful car btw, full credit where due.Strange that you’ve never owned a Tesla but seem to have detailed knowledge.
