Porsche patents adjustable roof height for autonomous mode
Another Porsche patent has appeared online that hints at their progress towards self-driving vehicles.
First it was reclining seats for autonomous driving and now it's an adjustable roof. Porsche has filed a patent application for a way to raise the roof of a car while it's engaged in autonomous driving. That way people can be more comfortable inside while their car drives them around town. On flipside, if you are manually driving and want sportier performance, it looks like the roof will be lower to improve aerodynamics.
