What options are an absolute must when configuring a Taycan?

Personal choice. Burmeister I would think is one.

Agreed

Had a Burmester setup in an S550 I was leasing early last year and lately in a Panamera. In both vehicles I was blown away by how they sound. This coming from an audiophile that goes beyond preset settings.

Although I'll admit it was better in the Benz.

Still, in cars like these Porsche's it really doesn't get better than this.
My 911 has a Burmester, it sounds very good. I have the Bose in the Panamera and that sounds pretty darn good as well.

Air suspension, rear steering wheels and Vectoring system, maybe chronos package. These make the Taycan feels more engaging and handling.

Bigger battery - lane change assist drives me nuts I turn it off. Heated / cool seats massage I love - I enjoy the additional screen Other than usual Porsche options like 14 or 18 way seats with massage. Depends if you want to spend the extra. I like the Mission E wheels with the upgraded brakes. I had one of the first Taycan S in the country somwone smashed it up so got another one - my husband got his last year and I have a new one is coming next month. I know quite a bit about these cars as #4 is in transit.

The most overlooked MUST have option is one that can be ordered at no extra cost (no cost option on a Porsche??) and it is the 25 foot charging cable.
Mine came with 25ft cable and glass roof - its standard on the S. The base model is pretty much a base model. Even the S you need to add things to. Take time and check out the options then go to the dealer and see if there are cars in the showroom that have them. They may not be on the Tacan but they will be on some of the cars there you can try out.

Yes, I had the 14-way seats on my 2004 911 but wanted to know if I wanted the 14 or 18 way seats in the Taycan, and I wanted to know how much the Lane Keep would bother me because I did not want it but my wife really likes it in her Audi. I tried these options in 911s and Macans because they were not on any of the Taycans on the lot. It did help me decide.

I do like the extra headroom that you get with the glass roof, but my light-sensitive daughter does not like the extra sunshine, so I’ll get some darker film to cut down on the light.
you dont have to worry about light coming through the roof - there is no glare whatsoever. Lane change assist - I dont like the fact that it pulls you back and feels wierd to lose control. Its not just a light that comes on in the side view mirror, this actually takes over. I have 14 way in my 911's up until last years model and they are good. They have the seat extender now that you can pull out under your knees for support.
