I'm one of those guys that aren't easily swayed by new innovations like what the Taycan will feature so sitting on the sidelines to see what initial owners report is what i'm after.

Used to own a 981 Boxster, then moved onto the 982 718, a year later real life priorities hit and now i'm stuck with a Cayenne E-Hybrid.

If Porsche does an all electric Cayenne i'll probably go for that instead...

At least with Porsche upping the allocations of the Taycan, more people sitting on the sidelines will have an opportunity to buy in for the first generation. No other premium brands are offering free charging for the first 3 years and are as driver focused. Welcome.

Sorry to hear you are 'stuck' with the Pepper SUV.......must be quite a change from the 982/718.
So, on the Tay, you really would not be a trail-blazer since it did take Porsche 5 years to develop the car.
It has some foibles but all-in-all it's pretty darn good engineering.

Anyway, if you want to get something closer to the ground.....a bit more fun to drive....and still a practical 4-door sedan.....IMHO Taycan is a pretty good choice, though personally I wished it was a bit more like the Mission E we were promised :) .
