“Nobody is going to get in that car and be disappointed."
Those are the words of former Formula 1 racer and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Mark Webber after driving the new Taycan.

Speaking to Motoring.com from his native Australia, Webber didn't hold back. “It’s unreal mate. The power is just insane in Sport Plus mode. It’s incredible.”

He says it's “totally different to anything I’ve driven before."

"I’ve done quite a bit of mileage in it now and it definitely feels like a Porsche because of the way they’ve done the interface and the styling — everywhere is Porsche inside, so it feels like you’re in a Porsche.

He says he still loves his GT3 RS but the Taycan is fantastic. "I drive it all the time, love it, it’s great. And I’ll continue to drive it. But I’d be more than happy to have a Taycan.”

I'd expect nothing less from Mark Webber, even if he wasn't working for Porsche haha

HAHA. So true. But the guy is also a development driver, which means if the car sucks, that's his fault.
I have ZERO doubts it will be fantastic to drive!

That's very true, his reputation is on the line along with Porsche. He's never been one to mince words so if he says it's good I'm not going to doubt him either lol.
