Hello. I'm a new member to the Forum and recently placed my deposit for the soon to be released, 2020? Taycan. Our current vehicles consist of 2017 Lexus 350, 2004 Dodge Ram 2500, 1983 Porsche 911SC, 1954 Rolls Royce Silver Dawn and 1960 Rolls Royce Silver Could. More cars than storage space. The Taycan, if purchased will be our first electric vehicle and looking forward to the day when it arrives.

Not many details on the deposit process. Visited a northern California dealer and placed the $2,500 deposit. Received a receipt similar to something from an old time receipt book. This dealer indicated we would receive update e-mails from them and also Porsche. We've received nothing. I recall seeing an deposit certificate that someone posted on the forum. Should I receive something similar from Porsche??

The odds of it appearing at an auto show prior to its full reveal at Frankfurt are probably quite low. All of the testing looks like its being done overseas as well, so no road going prototypes either.
