Over the next few years we're going to be seeing a massive wave of car companies introducing their first EVs. At the Tokyo Motor Show it was Mazda's turn as they introduced the MX-30.

The European model that was revealed comes with a 35.5 kWh battery and an electric motor capable of producing 142 horsepower (105 kW) and 192 lb-ft (264 Nm) of torque. The range is expected to be 130 miles (210km). It's expected to slot in between the CX-3 and CX-5.

Pre-orders have already started in Europe with sales beginning in roughly a year. No word yet on North America and Asia.
