Business Insider tweeted out this cool video of Porsche's factory in Leipzig, Germany and showed the process of how the assemble the Panamera and Macan. Since 2002 it's responsible for manufacturing over 160,000 vehicles per year. It's mesmerizing how intricate the process is when going through the whole video.

Most automotive assembly plants are similar to the Porsche plant in the video and the technology boggles the mind. A good friend toured the new Ford F-150 plant when it opened and he said it was surrealistic with huge open rooms with a only a few labcoated technicians watching hydraulic robotic arms working in silence except for the whirrrrr of hydraulics. He said to save electricity, since few humans were present in may areas, the lighting was very dim.

The overall process is the same but there's always certain things that one automaker does that others don't.
If Porsche could highlight on that here it might make us appreciate Porsche a tad bit more!
