If you absolutely must mount a front plate, one legal solution that does not require drilling the bumper is to re-purpose the front tow hook as a license plate mount. Completely reversible.
The two downsides are 1) non-symmetrical look (doesn't bother me though) and 2) there has been some discussion that in a crash, the protruding tow hook assembly could invite structural damage because load forces in the collision may be concentrated on that one point, through the tow hook to the chassis of the car, instead of the forces being absorbed by the width of the front bumper cover and bumper support. One way to mitigate this concern may be to choose a rather flimsy license plate tow hook mount, so hopefully the mount just collapses or shears off in a crash. One technical question I'd love answered is where the Taycan's tow hook mounts up to -- a crash bar behind there or crash structure of some sort or directly into the frame?
I'm lucky to live in a state that does not require a front plate. But when I lived in states that required a front plate, I rolled the dice and thankfully was never pulled over. I'd be livid if a dealer installed a front plate on my car before delivery. I always tell them I don't even want them washing it once and scratching it all up -- I complete the exterior PDI so I can ensure the paint is taken care of to my personal standard.
