Morning, our Porsche Taycan is with Porsche for a warranty issue, however they have halted work stating the below as we have a Dashcam fitted. Our installer hasn't cut into the wiring system, so this cannot be used an excuse either. Any thoughts?
Unfortunately we are still unable to communicate with your Taycan.
Due to the vehicle having an aftermarket dash cam fitted we will need a pre authorisation for 1 hours diagnosis (£354inc VAT) to investigate why we can’t communicate with the car. If the issue present is down to external influence, then the investigation work and repair work will be chargeable. If its not due to external influence, then the costs should be covered under warranty.
We are unable to carry out the campaigns without the PIWIS tester being able to connect as we are unable to programme and bleed the brakes and PSM control unit
