Today's news brings a story of an employee who was either denied a newer piece of equipment (a truck) or a contract job of some kind. There are conflicting reports, but the details don't actually matter here.

What matters is the disgruntled employee saw the owner's expensive car, fixated upon it, and decided to lash out his anger by attacking the car, driving over the owner's Ferrari with a semi-truck. His catharsis will come at a cost, including criminal charges (the owner had the Chicago PD press charges) and restitution.

My point is be careful right now with your status symbols. I expect a sharp increase in reports of vandalism against any symbols of wealth for the foreseeable future. Consider where you park your Taycan, and either keep a closer eye on it, or park it far away from where people or employees can see. If you're a business owner with affected employees, I would suggest not taking the Taycan to your business, or park far away so employees don't see.
