In Switzerland can I use my existing Tesla (Model X) wall mounted charger to charge a Taycan Criss Turismo or need a new charger?

You can use the Tesla Wall Connector. Works fine with a Taycan. Already did it myself a few times.
Hey @Swissbob! If you have an adapter you should be able to charge your Taycan no problem. Something like this.

@Smitty11 There is no need for an adapter in Europe. It's just plug'n'charge.

Thanks for confirming. Is there any benefit over the Tesla charger to the Porsche 22KW Mobile charger offered as an option with the CT4?
@Swissbob The Tesla Wall Connector (TWC) is cheaper and if you switch from a Tesla to another EV (like the Taycan) I guess you already have a TWC installed. In this case it doesn't make sense to buy a new wallbox if your fine with the basic functions of the TWC (capable up to 22kW, no PIN/RFID, no logging, no web interface). In other words it's just charging  If you want/need more functions the Porsche Mobile Connector Comfort (PMCC) is a very good option but not the best. There are other 3rd party wallboxeson the market that offer even more than the PMCC. In the end it depends on want you want and what you need.

Thanks @pEAkfrEAk
After 5 years of faithful service my Tesla Wall Connector stopped working. I ordered a new one which has just arrived but haven’t installed it yet. I’ve been using the slow AC charger in the interim which has sufficed due to covid reduced travel. I included the optional Porsche 22KW charger when ordering the CT4, assuming the Porsche wouldn’t run on the Tesla charger and with the experience that fast charging is invaluable, when you really need it. Sounds like I should either just install it and try and remove the Porsche charger from my order, or if this is not possible, I should return it and install the Porsche charger in its place.

The United States can’t figure out a universal “Universal Serial Bus” let alone something like a universal E plug. ;)

Could you please give more information on the wall chargers you like the best for Porsche vehicles? And as for using the TWC directly in the Porsche: That’s a real relevation to me. I have 2 TWCs, and should have tried that. But, Thank you! I guess my Teslatap 80A purchase was a waste :)

Does anyone know if the Tesla Wall Connector can work with my Taycan 4S in Australia?
