Anyone have any idea how should I prepare for charging at home in USA. Do i need to install a new 220 outlet? and what amp for my fuse box is the best for faster charging?

Yeah you'll need a NEMA 14-50 plug most likely, seems like they are offering 6-50 plugs as well. You'll need a 50 A circuit for it. That'll be the fastest way to charge at home.

Shop around for quotes on an electrician to do the work, too. I've read some reports of people being ripped off on a cost-per-hour basis the moment they mention electric vehicle charging station. A Tesla tax, if you will.

I have made arrangements to have a plug installed in the garage. Is the charging cable long enough that it doesn’t matter where you place the plug?
