Sorry for the delay in the response. No I have not owned an EV I the past. Have a friend with a Bolt and an in-law who built an electric trickin the 90s. That was a total mob with only approximately 25miles of range due to the lead acid batteries.
I do look forward to seeing what Porsche brings to the table. So far I like the original design much better than the latest rendering. Only tome will tell.
I look forward to being more active here as product starts to arrive.
The Porsche Taycan is just around the corner, but with a hefty price tag of $100,000 it is not cheap. I am going to be after one in a few years when they hit the pre-owned market, but I still want to try and predict the price of the base model. My thoughts on a 2-year-old car will be about...
Just about to sell my Macan and looking forward to a clean future. I was lucky enough to win a Porsche competition in September and got flown to the Frankfurt motor show where I had VIP access to the Taycan. Loved it!!
I'm much closer to retiring my Panamera after seeing coverage of the production Taycan!
It's a 2014 Panamera 4, the first Porsche I owned to replace my Lexus IS-F.
Haven't placed a deposit on the Taycan as yet. Waiting to see how Taycan's hold up in the hands of owners in the first 6 months...
I'm a Tesla guy and significantly interested in the Porsche Taycan (tho I do much prefer the "Mission E" moniker). I know that the official launch is 9/4/19, so am wondering if I might be the last newbie post here before the flood of newbies come in after 9/4/19?
