I am only getting 165 miles on 85% charge. I mostly drive in Normal mode. Drive on the freeway/ toll roads 80% of the time @80-85 MPH. I have seen here and other forums ppl saying they get 250 miles or more on a full charge.. how is that possible ? I use my home charger, no fast charging. (If that even makes a difference)

some people claim of getting close to 300 miles on a full charge. try slowing down a bit and see if that improves your range

Your use of accessories, strongly affects your range. During the summer, with accessories off and in Range mode, I can get about 316 miles. In the winter, using A/C and heated seats, it drops down to about 280.
This is a 2020 4S with the large battery.

and the ambient outside temps play no role?
afaik, the AC doesn't consume a tremendous amount of range while using the heating will use outsized amounts of range
